The time-honored heist movie is the theme for this autumn’s Film Series with educator Victor Messick.  "Heist" films are often formulaic and predictable, but this series strives to mix lesser known "out of the box" films with classics by such directors as Hitchcock and Houston.  We will feature "The Taking of Pelham One, Two, Three," which some critics consider to be the #1 heist movie, and we will enjoy performances by Cary Grant, Grace Kelly, Sean Connery, Michael Caine, Walter Matthau, Robert Shaw, Morgan Freeman, Frank Langella, Woody Allen, and more.
