KinoSaito Workshop: Painting from Observation

Create a dynamic still life and learn the fundamentals of painting from observation with artist Samantha Palmeri.  In this workshop, students will learn the art of observation.  A still life will be set up in the classroom for students to copy. Working from direct observation, students will learn essential techniques for creating a compelling composition, mixing a proper color palette, and creating form from color.  A $25 non-refundable materials fee is due by January 24.  If the materials fee is not received by the due date, your seat will be forfeited to the next person on the waitlist.  

Note:  This class is in collaboration with KinoSaito, an art center located in Verplanck, New York.
