History of Coins in America

As America approaches its 250th Anniversary of Independence, Dennis Sklenarik, member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA), will discuss the origins and development of coinage used from America's Colonial period through the coins we use today.  Dennis will take a look at how the designs of coins were developed and the work of the various chief engravers from the U.S. Mint who made their imagery take shape in silver and gold, which have become artifacts of America's history.
